ABOUT ME

I have a generous spirit and a moody mind. I love family, animals, kids, individuality and freedom. Music moves me. I'm a Pisces, so I prefer being in water. I'm friendly but reclusive. I believe authenticity is priceless. I am really enjoying my life!


WHAT THEY SAY ABOUT ME

Chandon Banning, born in Los Angeles in 1968, is a self-taught artist who works in a variety of media, including painting, photography and sculpture. Her first career was in social services, working with and advocating for people with disabilities. She later developed her own art and design company, Fluid Art Studios, in Los Angeles. Chandon’s artwork has been praised as “intimate, revealing and innovative.” As an advocate for animal rights, people with disabilities and other humanitarian efforts, she sees her artwork as a means of helping those causes. She encourages other artists to support causes they are passionate about. Currently she lives and paints in Santa Fe, New Mexico, while also co-operating Rasta's Rescue Ranch, Inc.. Rasta's is a rescue facility she co-founded with Shawn Tolhurst, which serves mostly visually impaired horses, farm animals and dogs. Most of the animals on the facility need special care and will live the remainder of their lives on the ranch.

Hollywood Bowl Art Project

Chandon Banning was selected to take part in the prestigious Hollywood Bowl Sphere Art Project. Using the Frank Gehry spheres, artists transformed these architectural acoustic wonders into art pieces celebrating the creation of the new shell at the world famous Hollywood Bowl.
